Peter Pan was a REALLY Smart Guy

Today marks the first day that I can say that "I'm moving in less than a month!" Weirded out much? Because I totally am. I can't decided whether I am more scared or excited. Meeting the roommates, excited. Living on my own, scared. Finally starting my Music Therapy studies, excited. 7:30 AM aerobics, scared. Meeting new boys, (super) excited. Saying goodbye to my family and friends, scared. And the list goes on and on. Have you ever wanted to fly away to Neverland and never have to grow up? Right about now, I'm thinking Peter Pan was an extremely smart guy. Excited, scared, excited, scared. I can't make up my mind! This is definitely going to be a new experience!

On another note, Scott is home safe and sound! AND he got his mission call!!!!! And he is going to............................. Seoul Korea! He leaves for the Provo MTC on November 17th. It seems so crazy and unreal. I can't believe that we are really old enough for all of this to be happening. BIG changes are coming up kick. Brace yourselves!

..........less than a month..........

Here we go!

Well I've never really been into this whole blog thing before but I decided to give it a try. This way I can keep track of my summer and next year of college for myself and any one else who wants an update.

SUMMER OF 2010!!!! Finally I graduated! SUCCESS Academy, Dixie State College, Dixie High School, and Dixie Seminary! After the four graduations, my summer officially started. My summer so far has been filled with friends, family, hello's and goodbye's and politics. I have spent quite a bit of my time hanging out with friends and family! I visited a friend and had some family visit me. Hanging out with them has been my main activity this summer. One of the most exciting parts of this summer has been the hello's that I have said. At the beginning of June I got my roommate assignment for USU and I am so excited to meet these girls!! They are way fun to talk to and I think we are all going to get along really well. My summer has also had some sad goodbyes... I sent my best friend off on a church history tour then summer semester at BYU and I sent my brother off to AIT training for the Army Reserves in Texas. Both in the same week. Thankfully I have still been able to talk to both throughout the summer. The biggest event of my summer so far was the Primary Elections that took place in June. My Dad is running for Washington County Sheriff and so this was a big event for us. And he won!!! He is the Republican candidate for sheriff. Now he just has to worry about the general election in November. Too bad I won't be here for that.... But I can still absentee vote!

One other exciting event of my summer was my trip to Logan for USU SOAR (student orientation and registration). I headed up with my friend Michelle, who will also be going to USU in the Fall. I was pretty much terrified to drive up to Logan without my parents. I was mostly scared that I would get lost. My dear friend Gary (the GPS that was in my car) broke right before the trip and I didn't think we would make it. But we did! Michelle and I made it all the way to Logan, problem free, without getting lost. Well... until we got there. We got lost in Logan but at least we made it there. We stayed at a friend's house, Stephanie. That evening the three of us decided to go to the USU campus and check it out. Stephanie doesn't live far from the college so we decided to walk. We had a great time, even though it started pouring rain and we all got drenched. It was a lot of fun! Later that night, Michelle and I watched Twilight while Stephanie went to a movie. During the movie I got sick and was sick throughout orientation the next day. I also wasn't able to sign up for classes. But we still had a lot of fun! I am so excited to live in Logan! Everyone says "It's so cold there" and that is my biggest fear about the whole thing. But there are going to be some amazing people there and I get to start work on my Bachelors Degree. It is going to be great fun! I can't wait for the Fall!
